SMARTPOUR Infrared Stream Temperature

SMARTPOUR is a non-contact infrared molten metal temperature monitoring system, which automatically checks the stream temperature as it enters the mould. The system comprises a 2-colour ratio infrared sensor with air purge, water cooler, adjustable mounting bracket, protective lens assembly, eye piece filter and cables. The SMARTPOUR computer enhancement program cleans the signal and computes the representative pour. Temperature, time, date, pour number and pouring time are calculated and stored to a printer or computer

OPTICAST Tundish Steel Temperature Measurement

Continuous Casting has become critical for steel quality and strict control over the casting temperature sees improved yield and operator safety. The blackbody cavity technology is used as an alternative to Pt/Rh thermocouples. Radiation from the bottom of the sensor is detected by a sensor and is converted into an electric signal and transduced to a temperature value. This value can be displayed remotely, logged to a computer and used as an input for control of casting speed. The sensor protection tube is manufactured from graphite alumina. The operating life can be up to 40 hours depending on the application.

PORTABLE TEMPERATURE LOGGER

Portable Temperature Data Logger can be used for remote logging of temperature such as furnace sinter linings, heat treatment furnaces as well as casting temperatures before breakout. The system can measure up to four thermocouples storing up to 36000 measurement points between intervals of 2s-24hr. The data can be downloaded and viewed using dedicated analysis software.
